_{she giggles , pleased at his evident happiness ; a joy that radiated from him and to others in his proximity. how did he do it   ?    Sooraya had to wonder. given her history , the traumas that weigh down her shoulders on a daily basis , it is hardly fair to compare herself to someone like Ted … but nevertheless , she finds herself envious , if only slightly , of his amicable nature. his history might be different , it might be exactly the same ————- but his outward nature , his tireless positivity was admirable. Sooraya hopes it’s contagious , and she too can embrace life and learn to enjoy herself every now and again.}

_{they padded down the hall, the quiet is thick and charged except for the occasional ‘hum’ from the photocopier and the snow haired, prune faced librarian shushing a group of gossip distributing teenagers that were hogging the library’s computers. his trademark grin stretched to an impossible span as he shifted his weight on the balls of his feet and turned around.  ❛  you look positively radiant today.  ❜  he said with a glint of mischief on his gaze. he usually doesn’t have the patience to adjust his stride for anyone and usually waits for them to catch up if they can but not this time. this time, he’s notably slowing his stride, waiting for their hands to align before he turns around again.}
