⚡ ❱❱❱ BILL ! 

       the phonebook is closed once more and placed securely into position, while his comrade is quickly setting up the slot of time to travel back to a mere two handfuls of years. bill’s mind is racing as lips raise to smile genuinely at the taller, a nod of excitement as he stands  in place to watch the future machine zip down into the coaster of time—

      ‘  next stop—- WOODSTOCK !’   bill’s voice is coiled by the closeness of the glass at his face, as he feels the machine start to rumble, jolting just a few feet back and forth before making it’s way into the passages; that was weird, the phone booth has never done that before.

the taller failed to distribute his weight on both legs in a proper human authorized way, making him stumble to bill’s side of the booth over the unprecedented turbulence. with his face equally pressed against the level surface of the glass that encased them, the gravity of their most unfortunate situation kicked in. what if they didn’t make out in one piece after they land? or if they land?  ❛  bill, it’s seems we are about to reach the moment of impa- ! ❜   wasn’t long till ted lost his balance under another questionable quake, his heart hammering in chest as he tried to maintain his foothold as best he could.  

he could could only hope the booth was especially designed to structurally withstand any punishment that this new found threat could throw at them at this point but that sure as heck didn’t make the situation any less terrifying. they landed in what he firmly believed to be woodstock after what felt like hours of being trapped inside the glass case that was steered through the circuits of time by the ugly red source of all evil himself.  

❛  that had to be one of our worst landings, dude. but at least we’ve made it to hendrix’s most distinguished place and time of residence without any unpleasant bumps, scrapes or extra pockets!  ❜  he fails to notice that this wasn’t exactly the destination he had in mind when he dialed the number back in san dimas, california 1989 and it could take him a while to figure that out. let’s keep him in the dark for now.
