gideon, a 2688 council member and former dressmaker and fashion designer from pasadena, california— earned their ba degree with a double major in history and english, along with a minor in business administration from bill and ted university in the year 2675. ted ‘theodore’ logan got them to pick up their first guitar in 2640 where they and their best friend at the time decided to start a band he called landlocked that mostly covered wyld stallyns’ songs. music really wasn’t their forte, so they ditched the guitar after discovering that they would much rather pursue a career in either fashion, business or politics.
unlike his former best friend, gideon—- quentin who is also from pasadena, california never gave up on his dream to become a rock star. he spent most of high school year covering his favorite but mostly insanely technical wyld stallyns songs on both vocals and guitar in preparation for his then band, landlocked but it wasn’t meant to last since it disintegrated shortly after its leader, gideon left the group. he put together a heavy metal band called powerline in 2655 before becoming one of the most influential of their time, often labeled the m.etall/ica to stallyns’ bl/ack s.abbath by the press. quentin continues to make music and profiting from it but hasn’t spoken a word to his then best friend, gideon after they parted ways.
brenda preston is his distinguished colleague, bill s. preston’s benevolent mother figure. she probably looks a lot older now but this is how a four year old bill and a four year old ted remember her after she and tamalyn logan, ted’s mother left the states with their nature preserve friends on “business”. much like bill and ted, brenda is the complete opposite of tamalyn. tamalyn is soft spoken, modest and can come off as a bit…reserved while brenda is strong, expressive, and always speaks exactly what’s on her mind whether people like it or not. she can smell bullshit a mile away and can go from 0-100 real quick.
isaac is a former singer, songwriter, musician and multi-instrumentalist who shares his hometown with ted ‘theodore’ logan’s paternal grandmother, amanda louise morgan. after moving to the states from saerphilly, south wales at the young age of 15— isaac started writing songs and took choir lessons after he discovered he had a very wide vocal range. he never made it big since its not about the fame or money for him, he just does music because he loves it. he’s a bit of a hothead, he’ll admit which gained him a really bad rep even after most successfully directing 24 choruses and counting at the bill and ted university but he means well.
